the 7th. Day of April 1784
This Informant upon her Oath saith that
she lives in the House of Robert Gray< no role >
in Leigh Street
aforesaid and as she was coming down stairs in
the said House about half past seven at night on
the 4th. of this instant April she heard the noise of
a window sash thrown up which she since verily
believes was the parlour window of the said House
on the ground floor and this happened about
ten Minutes before the alarm was given that the
said house had been broke open, and this said
informant further Saith that at the time she so
came down stairs and heard the noise aforesaid
it had been dark a considerable time she having
had occasion to use candles on that account
more than half an hour before
