Who being upon Oath say, and first the said

says that last Night a Quantity of Lead
affixed to the Gutters of this Informants Fathers House in Goswell
Street Road
was ripped up with an Intent to be stolen
And the said Richard Holland< no role >
says that last Night between
8 & 9 o'Clock he apprehended a person now present who calls
himself James Davis< no role >
in the Yard of the said Samuel Remnant< no role >
who was concealed under a PlankAnd the said James
Mc. Manus says that he searched the person of the said
James Davis< no role >
and found the Knife now produced in his
Waistcoat pocket
