one of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and
for the said County of Middlesex this 24th day
of April 1784

This Informant upon his Oath saith that
he hath great reason to believe John Paul< no role >
did feloniously take and carry away from the door
of the House of the said John Phillips< no role > on the 12th.
of this Instant April situate in old Street in
the Parish of St. Luke in the said County a
new Butt Rope his property the same being
found in the Custody of the said John Paul< no role >
by Christopher young< no role > the Person who
apprehended him as the said John Phillips< no role > hath
been since informed by the said Christopher Young< no role >
