and for the said County taken this 21st. day of
January 1784
This Informant upon his oath saith that on
Thursday the 15th Instant January he went from his
Lodgings in a one pair of Stairs Room about Dusk in the
Evening. That he lock'd the Door and gave the Key to his
Boy Robert John< no role >
Arnold. That he returned home about
Ten o Clock at night and called the Boy down from a
Workshop above stairs. when the Boy unlock'd the Door
and this Informant went into his Room. This Informant
upon ordering the Boy to make the Bed, he discovered he
had lost one Pair of Sheets from the Bed, One Pair of
Sheets which lay upon the Box, one shirt and his Box stup'd of
other things that he left in the Box. Which one Pair
of Sheets that lay upon the Box, were to his Knowlege
left in the Room, when he lock'd the Door and left it.

privately stole the same
