taken this day before me Sir Edward Bindloss< no role > Bars
One of His Majtys Justices of the Bare for the said
County City and Liberty

Who being on their Oaths says and first the said John Leonard< no role > for
himself saith that about half an hour part eight in Recovering of Friday
the 29 of Augt. last past his Wife having been Washing and the Linen
nearly dry it Was laid in a Basket and a Handkerchief being thrown
ever it a full drimned Shirt his properly Was land [..] the Basket being
in the entry as the parlour door and the Street door nearly open the
said Shirt was taken from [..] by some person unknown
and the said Richard Hunter< no role > for himself saith that being in his Duty
in the broadway he saw a Man with a Bundle in his hand which he
suspected to be Stolen Goods on which he secured and brought him before
Sir Edwd Bridless Bark when on Opening the Bundle it appeared to unknown
a full immed Shirt a Womans Clark and a Piece of Old silk the
two lufter of which is not yet owned but the Shirt is [..] be property
of the said John Leonard< no role > and the same which Was Stolen from the Basker
