The Information of Mary Butler< no role > , Elizabeth Freeman< no role > ,
Margaret Enstree, William Mallam< no role > , Daniel Buckley< no role > ,
Elizabeth Timmings< no role > and James Johnson< no role > taken
before me this 28th. day of August 1783.

Who being on Oath say and first the said Mary Butler< no role > says that as
she was in Bed in her Father's house in Oxford Street on Sunday the
17th. Instant about half past 6 o'Clock in the Morning, a Person now
present who calls himself Morgan Williams< no role > came into her room where
she observed him take and conceal this Informants Shoes and Buckles
in his pockets, then take the Informants Box containing Wearing
Apparells, and as he was going out of the Room with it this Informants
called to him and told him that it he carried away the Box
[..] she would call after him, That upon this said Williams
put down the Box came to the Bed side, tookcuta Knife out of
his pocket presented it to her Breast, took hold of her right Hand
and told her that if she did not promise him that she would
not speak of it, he would kill her, which from an Apprehension
of danger she promised him to fulfill; after which he left
her taking the Box with him, That the Cloak produced by the
said Elizabeth Freeman< no role > and the two Aprons produced by the
said William Mattain and Daniel Buckley< no role > were in the said
Box at the time it was so stolen and are this Informants own
property. An further says that the Box produced by the said
Elizabeth Timmings< no role > is the same Box which was so stolen,
And the said Elizabeth Freeman< no role > says that the Cloak produced
by her, she bought of the said James Johnson< no role > on Sunday the 17th.
Instant for £0.2.6. And the said Margaret Enstace says
that being in Bed on the said Sunday morning about 7 o'Clock in
the said Elizabeth Timmings< no role > 's House in Saint Giles's , the said
