Who being on Oath say and first the said Augustus Thompson< no role >
says that a Box directed to Mrs. Greatreaux, containing sundry
Wearing Apparell and 5 Guineas in Money, was on the 31st.
of January last put up into the Leather Machine behind the
said Couch to go to Northampton
And the said Francis
Knight< no role >
says that the same Morning about ½ past Six o'Clock
in Saint John's Street
the said Box was stolen out of the said
Machine, Information of which was immediately given to this
Informant in Saint John Street
, by the said Thomas West< no role >
. And
the said Thomas West< no role >
says that he was passing along Saint
John Street
at the time said Coach was going out, and saw
a Man jump into the said Leather Machine take out a
White Box and give it to a Person now present [..]
presentwho calls himself William Bryant< no role >
, whose person
he now well remembers, and whom he had seen many
times before. And further says that he this Informant
immediately acquainted said Francis Knight< no role >
with what
he had seen.
