The Information of Matthew Finch< no role > and Charles
Jorden
< no role > taken on Oath before me one of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the said County

This Informant Matthew Finch< no role > on his Oath Saith That on
the Ninth day of August Instant about Three O' Clock in the
Morning he was Stopt by three men on Stamford Hill between
Newington and Tattenham in the Parish of Hackney and
was Robbed by them of Four shillings but that he is not
able to swear to the Persons who Robbed him.

This Informant Charles Jordon Saith that he is a Servant
to the above named Matthew Finch< no role > and was with him
on the Ninth day of August Instant about three o' Clock
in the morning at the time he was Robbed, but was a
little distance behind his Master in the road at the
time he was stopped, That two of the said men went up
to his Master and the other man on seeing this Informant
a little behind came up to him with some weapon in his
hand and threatened to cut him down if he said a word
or made a noise and kept him back from going to
assist his Master while the other two were Robbing him
And further Saith that Edward Roberts< no role > the Prisoner
now under Examination is the same person who
came up to him and stopped him whilest his Master
was so Robbed as abovesaid.
