The Information of Edward Cooper< no role > of the Parish
of Saint Paul Covent Garden in the County of
Middlesex Hatter and Hosier
taken and made on Oath before me one of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace in and for the County
of Middlesex the 27th. day of May 1783.

This Informant on his Oath Saith That onnight
Saturday night the 17th of May Instant or Early on the Sunday
Morning following he was stopt by four or five Footpad,he
[..] on the road going from Shoreditch to Hackney between
the Nags head and Hackney Turnpike and Robbed by them
of Two Jordans Hats, a Silver Stock Buckle set with Stones a Blue
and White Pocket Handkerchief, a Common prayer Book
Two half Crowns and two shillings in Silver and a pair
of Metal Buckles. And Saith that he believes he
should not be able to Swear to the persons who Robbed
him by Reason that some of the persons who robbed him
pulled his hot over his face to prevent him from seeing
him. And further Saith that a pair of Metal Shoe
Buckles now produced by Samuel Yardley< no role > and Two Hats
now produced by Edmund Wade< no role > are the property of
this Informant which he was Robbed of as above
