Majesty's Justices of the Peace
in and for
the said County County this 13th day of
May 1783
Who being on his Oath saith that last Night between
the Hours of Ten and Eleven he went with the
person now present who says her name is Jane Dyer< no role >
to a House in Wentworth Street White Chapel
That when he went into the said House he [..] had
in his Waistcoat Pocket two Guineas and Six
or Seven shillings in Silver, That he was in the
Room with her about one Hour and undressed
himself to go to Bed when the said Jane Dyer
Suddenly put out the Candle and ran down
Stairs and he this Informant Dressed himself
and went down after her That as soon as
he got into the Street he found he had been
Robbed of his Money and a Silk Handkerchief
and is positive no other person was in the said
Room but the said Jane Dyer< no role >
and himself
during the time he was there
