Strikes's the White Lyon at Edgware
in the said
County Labourer
and
Aldridge Hawker< no role >
of the
Same place Labourer
taken before me this 10th. day of May 1783
Who being upon Oath say, and first the said Thomas
Barb< no role >
says that between the hours of nine and ten oClock last Night he was
Robbed at Silk Bridge near the Hyde at Hend
on of three Shillings
and six pence in Silver some half pence and a Silk Handkerchief
That he is very sure that a Shilling now produced as also a
Silk Handkerchief now produced are his property and are the
Shilling and Handkerchief of which he was robbedThat
the Persons who robbed him were Solders and were armed
with Bayonets
and he is very sure are two Persons now
present who call themselves Thomas Rogers< no role >
and John Liddell< no role >
and the said Aldridge Hawkes< no role >
says that he apprehended
saud Rogers and Liddell and found amongst said Rogers
Money the said Shilling and also in his Breeches concealed
the said Silk Handkerchief
