before me this 27th.. day of May 1783
Who being on Oath say and first the said Thomas Anslow< no role >
says
that about 10 o'Clock in the Morning on Tuesday the 20th. Instant
upon his receiving Information that a Man had got over the Rails
and into the House of his said Master in New Norfolk Street< no role >
he went in and examined the same and after searching some
time he observed a Person now present who calls himself
Thomas Breeze< no role >
come down the Kitchen Chimney; when he
secured him. That it appeared to this Informant that the said
Thomas Breeze< no role >
had entered at the Kitchen door, but whether
the said Door who fastened previous thereto or not, he cannot
tell. And the said Ann King< no role >
says that about a Week
before the said Tuesday, she fastened up the said House
except the said Kitchen door which she is very sure she
did not fasten; and further says that the said House
was unoccupied and had been so for about two Months.
