Shilling and a few Days after Hawkins came to this
Informant at the peter and Key in Peter Street and this
Informant sayd that he had no Money upon which Hawkins
lent him one half Guinea that four or five days after
this Informant was at the Golden Lyon in Wardour Street
in the Evening and Jones was there this Informant
went out to make Water and Jones followed him to
the door and asked him if he had any Money this
Informant answered he had not upon which be gave
him half a Guinea and then wished him aGoldgood
Night and went away And this Informant further saith
that he hath at several different times both before and
after the Robbery seen Jones Hawkins and Hopkins
in Company together at the Kings Arms in Compton
Street and at the Peter and Key in Peter Street
And this Informant further saith he was well
Acquainted with Jones and Hawkins and that the
Cloaths they each of them were for a Considerable
timebeforebefore the Robbery were always the same
very Old and Indifferent but that when this Informant
saw them soon after the Robbery was Committed the saw
Jones and Hawkins were both of them dressed in
Quite New and expencesive CloathsJones particulerly
in a New Suit of Scarlet Shag with Solid Silverplate
Buttons to the Coat and Waistcoat and Hawkinsand
likewise in New Cloaths both of them also having
New Boots and New Buckskin Breeches
