taken before Us Our of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the said City
and Liberty

Who being upon Oath saith that on a Sunday Night about
Nine o'Clock in the Month of march last the person on now
Present who calls himself Daniel Hopkins< no role > came to this
Informants Lodgings in Rebecca Court St. Mary Le Bone ant
seemed very much confused and asked if Edward Jones< no role > (the
person when this Informant lives with) we sat home & she
answered her was not that about Six, oClockinthemorning
Next Morning the said Daniel Hopkins< no role > came again anr
had a large Basket upon his head which seemed to be full and
very heavyHopkins desired the said Edward Jones< no role > to help
him with it of has head open which he asked him whether
had got there and Hopkins answered some Plate and
Dollars which he had taken the Night before Jones asked
him where he had got them but he would not tell him
he then asked the said Jones whether he would go with
him to sell it and he say'd he would not no he was
going out of Town but he would recommend him to one
who would buy it and then told him to go to Isaac Sampson< no role >
a Jew in Dukes Place who would buy it of him the said
Jones then helped the Buoket upon Hopkins's Head &
he want away but white he was in the Room Hopkins
asked this Informant if she he would have a Dollar or
Five but the said Edward Jones< no role > Damned her and say'd
what do you want to be Transported for other peoples
Stealing things and this Informant did not receive
any
