Sarah< no role > the wife of John Yates< no role > of The Town of
Uxbridge on Her oath saith
That when she Kettle was in their House and was Charged
with taking the Money she proposed to Kettle
Her going up stairs to be searcht and when they
Came up stairs she Refused Being searcht and
sat down upon the Bed and as she sat took somthing
from under her stays and put into Her Mouth
and then Turnd both her pocketts and put what
was in them upon the Bed and the Money she put
Into a Little purse, and then put her pocketts into
their place again and as she was sitting she observed
Her to take somthing out of Her Lap and put into
Her Lift hand pocketts, and then Mr Rainbow Came
up stairs and as she Rose from the Bed one shilling
Dropt on the Floor, Mr Yates Desird Mr
Rainbow to Help her as she was Sertain she had
the Money and on untying her petty coates and
unlaceing her stays Eight shillings fell upon the
Ground But she had Several times Before said
if I have any Money in my Stags these Lewd Women
Must have put it there and if they Have How Can
I help it, But when her pocketts Came to be Examind
on the Bed she then said there is Money in my pocket
and shot it out upon the Bed and Being asked How
that Came there she answered what is that to you
says that the Money Found at Different times
was Twenty four shillings & six pence the Money
said to be Lost and this deponent says she Receivd
Four shillings & six pence fromJohn William Folitt< no role > which
was pickt up in the street as she was Coming along
and Edward Rainbow< no role > on his Oath says that he saw
the Money upon the Counter Before it was taken and
also saw it taken from her as Described by Mr Yates
