this 16th. day of June 1773
Who being upon Oath says that she has boarded and lodged at Mr.
Robt. Brailsfords< no role >
in Petty France
Westminster
for a considerable, Time, that on Monday
last Mr. Vere a Sheriff's Officer with several Assistants came to the said Mr.
Brailsford's and took Possession of the Premises & Goods by Virtue of a Writ of
Execution as this Informant believes; that yesterday about six o'Clock there
being at that time no person belonging to the family in the house but this
Informant she went up into her own room to dress that one of the Assistants
belonging to the said Mr. Vere John Leonard< no role >
followed her into the room [..]
[..] and feloniously ravished and casually knew her against her
Will and Consent, that this Informant cried out and struggled as much as in
her Power that this Informant does not recollect what passed from that Time
until she found herself at the Bottom of the Garden about 8 or 9 o' Clock,
that she was soon afterwards received into the Garden of Mr. Giddiss
the next door, that she told Mr. Giddiss's< no role >
