Spencer and who as this Deponent has been informed
officiate as a Constables or Runner to John Sherwood< no role >
Esquire one other of his said Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for this County at Shadwell and the said
Richard Smith< no role > promised that he would take Care
thereof And this Deponent saith that according to
the Condition of his said Recognizance he this Deponent
the said Jane Leaver< no role > and the said Richard Smith< no role >
did Attend at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street
on Monday the seventh Day of the said Month of
September and the said Richard Smith< no role > did give
Instructions for an Indictment against all the said
Prisoners (as this Deponent then thought) and the
Deponent the said Jane Leaver< no role > and Richard Smith< no role >
did Attend at Hicks Halls aforesaid all the next
Day being Tuesday and likewise all the next Day
following being wednesday and on the next Day in
the Morning being Thursday this Deponent the said
Jane Leaver< no role > and the said Richard Smith< no role > were called
in and did give their Evidence before the Grand
Jury and after they came out from before the
Grand Jury and the said Bill of Indictment had
been brought into Court by the Grand Jury and
called over they immediately went to the Session
House in the Old Bailey and attended there all
that Day And all the next Day being Friday and on
the Saturday and Monday following and on Tuesday
the fifteenth Day of the said Month of september
this Deponent the said Jane Leaver< no role > and the said
Richard Smith< no role > did give their Evidence before the
Court in the said Sessions House in the Old
Bailey against all the said Prisoners (as this Deponent
then thought) who were then Fried and Acquitted
And this Deponent saith That he then thought
and verily believed that every thing had been long
and
