And this Informant Edward Castledine< no role > for himself
saith that the is at Butcher by Trade that On
ThursdayEveningwas [..] night in the afternoon
he went to Black Lyon Lane in the Parish of
paddington to see Six Wether Sheep which
he had at pasture inthe anda Field there
and found then all alive and session the Field
And about Ten o' Clock on the Sunday Morning
followingabout 10 o ClockOne Walker a Man
who looks over the Ground came to this Informt.
at his House in Newport Market & told him that
the said Sheep had been killed in the Filed and
thrown into the Ditch Upon which this Informant
went up about two o Clock the same Day [..]
to the said Field and found the said Six Sheep
had been killed and Ripped Open and the Caul &
Kidney Fat taken away and the Carcase [..]
thrown into a Ditch in the same Filed And
upon another and were putsrified and this
Informant further saith that the Caul and
Kidney Fat which was taken upon the Person now
present who calls himself James Duft who
was apprehended by the others Informant Willm
Stiring which Fat weight Seventy Six pounds
her is certain by its being Cuts must have been
taken from Sheep which were not fairly
killed and apprehend from the Weight thereof
that it was taken from about ten Sheep
