The Information of Hugh Reed
of great Ealing in the County of
Middx aforesaid Cordwainer taken
this Second day of October 1772
before us Henry Lane< no role > be [..] Thomas
Miller< no role > Esquires Two of his Majestys
Justices of the Peace for the said
County who on his oath Saith
that on Friday night late in the Evening this
Informant [..] being very much in
Liquor laid himself down or fell
down upon the Ground near Ford
Hook in the Parish of [..] and
believes he Continued there Sleeping
on the Spot til near One of the Clock
the next Morning when he was awaked
by two persons where Names he finds
are Mathew Drake< no role > and John Groves< no role > ,
and which said two persons he verily
believes to be the men who assaulted
him putting him in fear of his Life and
feloniously took from him Two Shillings
and five pence his this Informants
property
