The Information of Richard Mills< no role > of the Parish of
Saint Paul Shadwell in the County of Middlesex
Waterman taken before me one of his Majesty's
Justice of the Peace for the said County this 30th. day
of September 1772

Who upon his Oath saith that he know John Cook< no role > and Stephen
Bryant
< no role > and that this Morning between twelve and one o' Clock he
was laying with his Boat at Shadwell Dock Stairs in the Parish
aforesaid when the said John Cook< no role > and Stephen Bryan< no role > got came
there and getting into his Boat went therein to the Shore opposite
Shadwell Dock when the said Johns Cook and Stephen Bryant< no role >
went a shore leavings this Informant in his Boat and thats the said
John Cook< no role > and Stephen Bryant< no role > did feloniously steal from a who of
Three Pieces of Mahogany which they brought down and out into
this Informant, Boat, And this Informant the said John Cook< no role > and
Stephen Bryant< no role > carried the said Three peices of Mahogany in the
said Boat to the Hermitage Stairs where the same was landed
And that this Informant did afterwards this Morning sell one of the
said Peices of Mahogany to one George Messeroy for four Shillings
being greatly under the Value thereof which said George Messeroy
did feloniously buy and receive the said piece of Mahogany will
knowing the same to be [..] feloniously stolen And that he has been
since informed and believes the said Mahogany is the Property of Richard
Clark
