in told this Informt. in the Dutch Langage to group
Stairs & Hartshewed them the way & Jones & this Informt
followed & when they came up Stairs Hart desired to exam [..]
the Notes When Jones took them out of his Pocket Book &
Gave them to Hart & asked Jones what he would have for [..]
four Hundred Guineas [..] and he answeredthe Notes amountg: to £610 in
the whole & Hart would not give so much but Offered £300 for [..]
them which Jones refused, Hart then Offered 300 Guineas
& declared that he would not give a farthing more which Jones
agreed to take, & Hart paid him the same 300 Guineas Immedia-
tely all in Cash to wit Guineas as half Guineas 3 Moideres. and
some Silver Jones went out of Hart's House with the Money
& Hart Sliped a Guinea into this Informts. Hand for havg.
procured him the Man And this Informt. saith that before
they came down Stairs Jones asked Hart if he would Buy
a pair of Diamond Carrings< no role > & he say'd that he would upon
Which Jones took a pair out of his Breeches pocket Jones
asked 25 Guineas for them but Hart declared that he would
not give to farthing more than ten Jones Refused to take it
& Puttg. them into his pocket again they both came away
Jones & this Informt. then went to the ale house Where Chas.
the Dyer was Waiting for them & told Charles that he had got
the Cold & say'd let us go as they were goeing home this Informt.
asked Jones to pay him for his Trouble according to the
Agreement & Jones desired him to come the neat Morning
& he should be satisfied upon which this Informt. left them
this Informtand went the Neat Morning to Jones House where
he saw Chas the Dyer & another Man at Breakfast with Jones
