Went to Abingdon & there changed a £100 Note &
Received abt. £80 in Cash & a £20 Note & from thence
to Benson where they Changed no Note & from thence to
the Red Lyons at Henly & there Changed a £100
Note & Reced abt. £80 in Notes & the rest in Cash
from Henly to Maiden head Bridge & there Changed
a £20 Note & then they came To Town which was
on the Friday Night & got out of the Chaise in Piccading
& took a Hackney Coach & went to Shoreditch Church
the Man at the Toll Gate told them that the Maid
had been Robbed which made Jones dubious of
going out again to Circulate the Remr. of the Notes
And this Informant further saith that he made
Memorandams of several of the Notes but has since
lost it yet thinks that the Numbers of four of them
were as follows VizteitherNo. 117118119or 120
or No. 217218.219or220& he believes that two
of the Notes Numbered as above were Changed upon the
Road & that the four Notes abovementd were part of
the Notes which were brought to him by his Brother
Wm. Brent on the Thursday Morning And this Informt.
further saith that about afortnight after they came
to Town Joseph Brent< no role > the Brother of Wm. Brint
was sent for out of the Country from Welling in Kent
& he came to Jones's House at Hackney where
Wm. Brent & this Informant were present & they
delivered a Box to Joseph Brent< no role > & told him that there
were things of Value in it but did not Inform him of the
Particular of it Content the Box was locker & the Key Remained
with This Informant Joseph Brent< no role > took the Box
into the Court with him & he was desired to take Care
of it till his Brother Wm. Brent sent for it And this is
Informant further saith that about the Sunday followg
after the Delivery of the Box Joseph Brent< no role > came to [..]
the House of this Informt. in East Street Red Lyon Square
& expressed a great Uneasiness in having the Box in his
Custody Whereupon this Informant & One Lyon Alexander< no role >
