The Information of Lyon Alexander< no role > &
Isaac Bocarac
taken before Us two of his Majestys Justices of
the Peace for the said County City & Liberty
Who being Jointly upon OathAnd first this Informt Lyon
Alexander Saith that sometime in July last on Johy Jones aforesaid
now Prevent came
to him on a Sunday Morning at his Lodgings
in Wonnwood Street & being Drest in Monaning
this Informt. asked him who he was in Monaning
for & he Replied that of an Aunt of his was Dead at
Oxford & had left him & his Brother between three & four
thousand Pounds & say'd that it would put him & his
Brother into a Way of Business that they never should
do any thing in that Way any more meaning as this
Informant believes that they should never go a
Thieving any more And this Informt. asked the sd. Jones
to Lend him five Guineas that he might put himself
into a Way of Business & he told him that he woud ask his
Brother, but gave him a Guinea to Buy his Children some
Cloaths and this Informt. furr. saith that he & Jones went
together into Bishopgate Street & in going by the Corner of
Wounwood Street he there saw Jone's Brother whose Name he
Informed him was Brent but desired that this Informt. would
not take any Notice of him which he did not, And saith
that Jones spoke two or three words to his Brother & then
Returned to this Informt. And saith that on the Sunday
followg. Jones came again to his Lodgeings & gave him a
Moidere from his Brother & say'd that he would not lend
him any five GuineasAnd saith that he desired this
Informt. to call upon him in fews day's after for he had
some thing very material to say to him and about. 3
Days after he Called upon Jones: at his House in East
Street & there he saw Chas. the Dyer; Jone's & this Informt.
