Nicholas Bond< no role >
taken before me this 3rd.
day of October 1770
Who being upon Oath severally say and first the said John Noakes< no role >
for
himself says that on Friday Night last he found in the house of a person now
present who calls himself Joseph Hodges< no role >
several counterfeit Shillings now
produced and also a cutting Engine now produced and other Tools and Engines which
he verily believes may be made use of in coining Money, and the said Nicholas
Bond< no role >
for himself says that he was present with the said John Noaker< no role >
at
searching the said house where they found the things above mentioned
and that he this Informant found also near a furnace in the said house
a piece of Metal now produced which appears to be intended for a
counterfeit Shilling but not finished
