to give the said Harris & the other Jew 1 Guinea each not
having any more Money then about him & the sd. Maddox
had since told this Informt. that he did give them a Guinea
[..] each And this Informant. further saith that on the Sunday following Brent came to this Informt.
Lodgings Where he & his Wife & One Isaac Bocarad were at
Breakfast together & Brent asked this Informt. if he had
got the Money for the Note & he Replied that he had And
Immediately Paid him £50 which was the Money agreed
for the said £100 Note And this Informt. further saith
that he verily Believes that the £100 Note now produced
by Mr. Maddox in the same Note which he had from
Brent which he sold to the said Mr. Maddox as above
described And further saith that about 2 Days after
the Sale of the Diamond Earrings being at Jones House
he Offered him a Piece of Foreing told Coin for 5
Guineas which he then took from him & Sold it to
Hart the Jew for £6 and gave Jones five Guineas And
then Jones produced a Gold Case for a Watch & a Metal
Watch & Say'd that he would have 6 Guineas for both &
this Informt. took them & Sold them to Hart for five Guineas
& a half which his Informt. brot to Jones [..]
