Middlesex To wit


The Information of Thomas Heffernon< no role > of
Casth Street Long acre [..] Smith
and Ann Recaes< no role > of the same Spinster
taken before in this 19th. Novr. 1766

Who being upon Oath severally say and first the said Thomas
Heffernon
< no role > for himself saith that as he was coming up Castle Sheet
aforesaid about two o'Clock on Sunday Morning last he saw
two Persons come out of the Turks head in the sd. Street says
he believes a Person was present who calls himself William
Sutton
< no role > to be our of the Persons the peace out of the said
house says that the sd. Suttons born panion struck this Informt.
a blow upon the breast which threw him agt. the Rails says that
at this Instance the other Man whom he believes to be the said
Sutton snatched his Watch out of his Pocket that he pursued
them crying stop Thief but in vain says that the Watch now
produced by Mr. Brown the Pawnbroker is the same that he was
Robbed of as aforesaid And the sd. Ann Reeves< no role > for herself saith
that She is Servant at the Turks head in Castle Street
aforesaid says that about two o'Clock on Sunday Morning
last a Person now present who calls himself Wm.
Sutton came into her Masters house in Company with
a short Man dressed in a blue Coat that they called for
a Pint of Beer which She shew, that they drank some
part and went out saying they wou'd return directly says that
they returned no more but say that Immediately after
said Sutton and his Companion went out the aforesd.
Mr. Heffernon< no role > came in and said he had been Robbed
of his Watch by two Men whom he described and that his
description answered to the said Sutton and his Companion
