Who being upon Oath says that on a Saturday night which She
believes was on the 4th. of Octr. Instant at about 11 of the
Clock at Night a Porter who said he came from the
Bell savage Inn
brought aInBuck in a Hamper directed
for her said late Master as above which he delivered, demanding
one pound eight con Shillings and six pence for Carriage and EighteenShillings
pence for Porterage, says She told him She thought in
was too much for Carriage offered him his demand for
Porterage and desired him to leave the Venison and call
upon her Master (whome She [..] pected home that hight) for
the Money for the Carriage, says he at first refused to
leave it but at last agreed and did leave it saying he
wou'd call for payment on the Tuesday Morning following, but
says the same Man returned the next Morning before She was
up and demanded the Vension that She got up & let him
in but Told him on his insisting to take it away, at his
Peril to do it, whereupon he with force and Violence feloniously
took and Carried away the same and no She was afterward
wasinformed and believes Sold it the same day before
two o'Clock, says that She hath heard that the above Porters
Name who so Stole and carried away the said Venison
is Caseley and that he hath but one Eye
