ten Shillings in that part of Saint Catherines Lane Which her
in the parish of Saint Botolph without Aldgate in the Said County
& resided therein for Several years & by means thereof gained a
legal Settlement in the said Parish That he has not Since rented a
house of the yearly Rent or Value of Ten pounds or upwards or
Served any Parish office or paid any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes
or done any Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement & that he hath
a Wife named mary < no role > to whom he was lawfully married

unknown to her That her said husband has informed her and
Which She belives to be true That divers years ago he was hired
& lived as a hired Servant by the year with Mr Herley in Little
Moor Fields in the parish of Saint Stephen in Coleman Street in
the City of London at Certain Wages & While a Singleman & Continued
in Such Service for the Space of Three years & by means there of gained
a legal Settlement there That to this Deponents knowledge or belief
her said husband did not afterwards rent a house of Ten pounds a
year or upwards or Serve any Parish office or pay any Poors Rates or
Kings Taxes or do any Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement That She
hath two children namely Amelia < no role > Aged Four years & four months
& John < no role > Aged two years & one month the lawful Issue of this depont
by her said husband to whom She was lawfully married.
