Elizabeth Adams< no role > the Wife of Abraham Adams< no role > maketh
oath that her said husband has been gone from her for near the Space
of two years & She this Deponent hath not heard from him Since nor
doth She know where he now is That previous to her Marriage with her
said husband She was hired & lived as a hired Servant by the year of
certain Wages by & with one Mr Hansard on Millbank in the parish of
St John the Evangelist Westmr in the said County & Continued in
Such Service for the Space of a year & by means thereof gained a
legal Settlement there That She afterwards was lawfully married
to her said husband That She has been informed by her said husband
& by other credible Testimony that he was duly bound to & Served the
whole of his Apprenticeship with one Mr Cresoey a Phimber in New
Street otherwise Called Somerset Street in the parish of Saint Botolph
Without Aldgate in the City of London & by means thereof gained
a legal Settlement there That to this Deponents knowledge or belief
her said husband never rented a house of the yearly rent or Value
of Ten pounds nor ever Served any Parish office nor everful
any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes nor ever did any Act to gain
Settlement Subsequent to his Apprenticeship

deced maketh oath that She cannot give any Account respecting her
sd late husbands Settlement Save that She was by birth an Irishman That
previous to her Marriage with her husband & While a Single woman She
was hired & lived as a hired Servant by the year with one Robert Evers< no role > [..]
a Victualler in Lower East Smithfield in the parish of St Botolph with
Aldgate in the sd County at Certain Wages & Continued in Such Service
for the Space of one Whole year there & by means thereof gained a
legal Settlement there That She has not Since done any act to gaint
another Settlement in her own right save her Marriage as afore said
