Mary Turner< no role > Singlewoman maketh oath That
She cannot give any Account respecting the place of Settlement
of her Parents or either of them That She this Deponent hath
been informed by her Father William Turner< no role > & which She
believes to be true that She this Deponent was born in Lemon
Street in the parish of St Mary Whitechapel in the said County
& was Baptized in the Church belonging to the said parish That
She this Deponent never was bound an Apprentice nor never
in any one place as a hired Servant for the Space of a year nor
was ever Married nor ever did any Act to gain a Settlement in
her own right.

her That he has informed her & which She believes to be true
that he is by birth an Irishman & never did any Act to gain
a Settlement in any part of Great Britain That She this
Deponent previous to her marriage with her said husband
was hired & lived as a hired Servant by the year with Thomas
Lisse
< no role > by in Little Moor fields in the Parish of St Giles without
Cripplegate London packer at Certain Wages & Continued in Such Service
for Seven years & by means thereof gained a legal Settlement
there That she did not afterwards live elsewhere as a hired Servt
for a year or do any Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement Save
What she has Acquired by her marriage as afore said

She was bound Apprentice by the Parish officers of Bromley near
Bow in Middlesex to one Sarah Russell< no role > of Seven Star Court
Rosemary Lane in the Parish of Saint Botolph witht Aldgate in the
sd County Washer woman & Served there four years or there abouts
of Such her Apprenticeship when this Deponts mistess not having
Sufficient work to employ this Deponent in She gave this Deponts.
Indre up to her & they parted by Consent That She this Deponts hath
eversince lodged presided in the said parish of St Botolph without
Aldgate & hath not at anytime lived as a hired Servant for a year or
been married or done any Act to gain a Settlement than as aforesaid

ago he rented a house in Rosemary Lane in the Parish of Saint
Botolph without Aldgate in the sd County of the yearly rent of Twenty
pounds & continued in the occupation thereof for about two years
That he has not Since rented a house of the yearly Rent or Value
of Ten pounds or Served any parish office or paid any Poors
Rates or Kings Taxes or done any Act to gain a Subsequent
Settlement That he hath a wife named Alice < no role > to whom he was
lawfully married in the parish church of Sunderland near the
Sea in the Bishoprick of Durham
