Henry Crabtree< no role > maketh oath That divers years
ago he was duly bound apprentice to & Served the whole there of
with William Jackson< no role > in the Parish of other near the City of
York in the County of York Taylor and by means thereof
gained a legal Settlement there That he this Deponent never rented
a house of Ten pounds a year or upwards nor ever Served any
parish office nor ever paid any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes nor
ever did any act to gain a Subsequent Settlement to his knowledge
information or belief

Susannah Dighton< no role > of the Parish of St Botolph witht Aldgate Middlesex
Spinster Severally make oath & first the Said Thomas Devail< no role > Saith
that he well knows the othr depont. Susannah Dighton< no role > That She is the
Daughter of Henry Dighton< no role > by Elizabeth < no role > his wife both deced with Whom
this Depont was also Well Acquainted That the sd Henry Dighton< no role > in his life
time rented a dwells house of upwards of the yearly rent or value of Ten
pounds adjoing to the London Work house in Bishopsgate Street in the
parish of St Botolph witht Bishopsgate London & carried on there in
the Trade of a Tallow Chandler for many years & died in Such house and
by means there of gained a legal Settlement there That his Widow the
said Elizabeth Dighton< no role > lived in & rented the sd house after his death and
died in the Work house belonging to the said parish of St Botolph
without Bishopsgate as this Deponent has been informed & believes
and that She did not afterwards to this Deponts Knowledge information or
belief do any act to gain a Settlement elsewhere And the said Deponent
Susannah Dighton< no role > for herself Saith that she never was bound an Apprentice
nor ever lived as a hired Servant for a year nor was ever married nor ever
did any Act to gain a Settlement in her own right
