divers years ago She was hired & lived as a hired Servant by the
year by & with one Mr White an Apothecary in the Back
Road in the Parish of St Mary Ishington in the sd County
& Continued in Such Service at Certain Wages for Several years
& by means there of gained a legal Settlement there That She
has not Since lived as a hired Servant for a year nor was She
ever Married nor hath She done any Act to gain a Subsequent
Settlement

lawfully Settled in the Parish of Armdell in the County of
Sussex That this Deponents said Niece to the Knowledge or
belief of this Deponent never was bound an Apprentice nor
ever lived as a hired Servant for a year nor ever did any
any act to gain a Settlement in her own right
