Mary Middleton< no role > the widow of John Middleton< no role >
deced maketh oath that her said late husband has informed her &
which She believes to be true that he was born in Hog Lane in the
Parish of St Leonard Shoreditch in the said County That to her
knowledge or belief her said husband never was bound an Apprentice
nor ever lived as a hired Servant for a year nor ever rented a house
of Ten pounds a year or upwards nor ever Served any Parish office
nor ever paid any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes nor ever did any
act to gain a Settlement for himself That She this Depont can
give no account respecting true Settlement of her said late
husbands Parents or either of them never having received any
information relative thereto That She this Deponent Since her sd
husbands death hath not done any Act to gain a Settlement for
herself & that She hath three Children namely Elizabeth < no role > aged
about twelve years Sarah < no role > aged about nine years & four months
& Mary < no role > aged about Six years the Issue of this Deponent by
her sd husband to whom She was lawfully married

deced maketh oath Bhather Said late husband deced has informed
her & which She believes to be true That he was duly bound Apprentice
to & Served the whole of his Apprenticeship with [..] Mr Thompson
a Sailmaker in the parish of St Botolph without Aldgate in the said
County & by means thereof gained a legal Settlement [..] And to this
Deponts knowledge or belief he never did any Act to gain anothr Settlemt
nor hath She this Depont Since his death done any act to gain a
Settlement for herself & that She was lawfully married to her sd husband

oath that her sd late husband has informed her & which She believes
to be true that divers year ago he was duly bound Apprentice to &
Served the whole thereof with one Mr Ogden a Shipwright in the
Parish of St Nicholas Deptford in the County of Kent & by means
thereof gained a legal Settlement there That he did not afterwards
rent a house of Ten pounds a year or Serve any parish office or pay
any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes or do any not to gain anothr Settlemt.
nor hath She this Depont Since his death been married or done any
act to gain a Settlement in her own right

Daniel Dalton< no role > maketh oath that divers years ago
he was duly bound Apprentice to Thomas Day< no role > of King Street in the
parish of St Botolph without Aldgate in the sd County Taylor & Served
him there for about the Space of two years & then without his Masters
Consent in listed himself for a Soldier & continued as Such for about
the Space of two years & then this Deponent upon his coming from Rochester
to London was apprehen did by a warrant from Lord chief Justice Mansfield
at the instance & Complaint of his sd Master & his Depont was thereupon
discharged from the army & this Deponts Master refusing to take him
again it was thereupon agreed between this Deponts uncle & his Master
in Consn. of a Guinea & half paid by this Deponts uncle to his Master that
this Depont. Shed be discharged from his sd apprenticeship & there upon this
Deponts. Indres were delivered up to be cancelled & his Appernticeship panton
End to & this Depont Soon afterwards unlisted himself a Second Lane as
a Soldier That he was Depont. has not Since done any act to gain anr.
Settlement & that he was lawfully married to his wife Martha < no role >
