and Cloathing for twelve months from Lady day
That the Committee had ordered the Statues at the Gates of the
Hospital to be painted
26th. April
That the Committee had contracted for 120 Chaldrons of Coals
at £1 18 6 per Chaldron
And had ordered that the Steward should give directions for
repairing the Engines at an expence not exceeding £15..18..
And that the Steward laid before the Committee an Inventory of
the Furniture Etc in the Apartments of all the Officers and Servants
And that the Poors Boxes were opened wherein was found
£8-5-9
And that the Committee had audited Workmen's and Tradesmens's
Bills amounting to £1372-15-
The Minutes of the Bethlem Committee were confirmed and a Motion
being made
That the Bethlem Committee be empowered to lay out in the
"present Year the Sum of £220-.. in the repairs of the said
"Hospital particularly stated and recommended to this Court by
"the said Commitee."
it was carried in the Affirmative.
The Minutes of a Joint Meeting of the House and Prison Committees
were read
Resolved that the recommendations therein contained be considered
at the next Court and that notice thereof be inserted in the Summons
