to be Turner to this Hospital.
And that the Committee had consented that Mr
Wm Balls< no role >
should assign his Lease of a House at
Wapping
to Mr John Slater< no role >
of Phillips Buildings
Southwark

Wednesday Novr. 2d.
That the Committee had Ordered that the report of the
Surveyor as to the repairs necessary to be done to the Roof
of the Hall and Chapel be taken into consideration in
February next he being of Opinion it was too late in the
Season to enter upon them at present.
That the Committee had Ordered that the Surveyor should
give directions for performing sundry Repairs to a
Laystall
and Landing place situate on the South side of
Wapping Street
no Person attending with a proposal to
Contract for the same altho' advertisements had been
inserted in the public Papers.
That the Committee were of Opinion the application
made to them by Mr John Schneider< no role >
requesting that a
Lease might be granted to him of the Engine House
belonging to this Hospital could not consistently with
the Interest and Rules of the Hospital be complied
with.
That the Surveyor had reported that he observed several
Settlements in the Vaults and Walls adjoining the New
Saver
which he presumed arose from the sinking of the
Ground.
