Continued Wednesday 27th: July 1757.

And further that it shall & may be lawfull to & for the sd. Governors & their
Successors or any of them or any of their Officers Servants & Workmen at all convenient
times during the sd. Term of Seven Years to enter and come into the sd. Rooms and
every of them to View Search and soe the State of the Reparations thereof And
upon Notice Given or left in Writing at any of the said Rooms by on from the sd. Govrs.
or any of them or by any of their Officers by Order of a Court or Comittee to or for the
sd.of any Deferts or Wants of the Reparations
aforesd He the saidfrom time to time and at all times
during the sd. Term of 7 Years if he shall so long Live And continue an Artsmaster
in the said Hospital And will imediately repair and Amead the same And in the
end of the sd. Term of 7 years or other sooner Determination thereof shall and will
Yeild up the sd. Rooms repaired as aforesaid Together with all such things as
now are and at any time or times hereafter during the said Term of 7 years
shall be sett up and fixt to the Freehold of the said premes or any part thereof
And also the Goods Utensills and things in the sd. Schedule mentioned whole Safe &
Undefaced (reasonable Use and wearing thereof in the mean time only excepted)
And moreover that he the saidwill not at any
time or times hereafter during the said Term Demise Lett Sett Assign or
sett over the said Rooms or any of them to any Person or Persons whatsoever
Or Receive any Lodger or Lodgers Inmate or Inmates into them or any
of themNor will break or make any Wall or make any Alterations in
any of the said Rooms without the Lycence and Consent of a Court or Comittee
of the Governors of the sd. Hospital of Bridewell In Witness Etca.

All which is Submitted to the Judgment of the Court And Ordered to be
Reported to the CourtThis Court having duly weighed and Considered
the said Report doth Confirm the sameAnd order that Articles be entra
into by the Artsmasters by Direction of the Comittee of this House.

Ceiling to be repaired}


Ordered that the Surveyor and Carpenter do Examine the Roof and
Ceiling over the Court Room and State the Condition in which they find the same
and what Repairs are necessary to be done and lay the same before the Comittee
of this House To whom it is referred to give such Directions therein as they shall
think properdd Copys to Mr Cotton & Mr Holden Mo. 1st. Augst. 1757. Cl.
