The Clerk Acquainted this Court that he had been Served with
a Subpana To the Mayor & Commonalty & Citizens of the City of London
governors of Bridewell Hospital to Appear to a Bill in Chancery
at the Suit of The Mayor and Comonally & Citizens of London, Order'd
That Mr. Saint John Do Appear as Clerk in Court for the Governors.

Blacket St. Walter Barrt
Books for his benefaction of 100 Gas.}


Mr. President Acquainted this Court That Sir Walter Blacket< no role > Barrt . had
given him 100 Guineas for the use of these Hospitals which he now paid to
Mr. Treasurer, Whereupon It is Order'd That thanks of this Court be given to the said
Sir Walter Blacket for his kind Donation.

Governors of these Hospitals And Order'd that Staves be forthwith sent
to them Notwithstanding the Order of Court the 6th. of June 1765

Mr. Treasurer Acquainted this Court That he had received of Sir
Mathew Lamb< no role > Barrt . Executor of the late Countess of Salisbury's Will
a Legacy of £2000 for the Incurables in Bethlem Hospital

A Motion being made that in regard to the Extra ordinary Diligence of
Mr. Samuel Mackley< no role > the Porter of this Hospital a Gratuity be given him for
his good Services for the time past And the Sum of Twenty five pounds
being now proposed And the Question thereupon putIt is order'd
that the Clerk do pay the sd. Mr. Mackley Twenty five pounds as
a Gratuity for his said Services
