This Court being Chiefly called for the Election of a President Etc.
The Names of such Persons as are put in Nomination for President
TreasurerAuditor General& other Officers are as follows.

The Right Worshipfull Sr. Richd. Glyn< no role > Knt . & Aldn. the Present President being
Nominated to be chosen President of these Hospitals for the Year Ensuing It plainly
Appeared that the sd. Sr Richd. Glyn is by all the Governors here present Unanimously
Elected President of these Hospitals for the Year ensuing

The Worshipfull John Wallington< no role > Esqr . the present Trear being Nominated to
be chosen Trear of these Hospitals for the Year Ensuing It plainly Appeared that the
said John Wallington is by all the Governors here present Unanimously Elected Trear
of these Hospitals for the Year ensuing.

Ayliffe Jos Esqr. his resignation
of Andr. Genl.-& Donation of £100}


The Worshipfull Joseph Ayliffe< no role > Esqr the present Auditor General being
Nominated to be chosen Auditor Genl. for the Year ensuingMr. President
Acquainted this Court He just now reced a Letter from Mr. Ayliffe which was read as
follows ViztSr. My residence which is now altogether in the County Together with
an Advance of Years render it too difficult to discharge the Trust reposed in me in this
manner the same ought to be Executed, and as I wou'd chuse to do, I therefore desire that
the Court will be pleased to Anext of this my resignation of the place of Audr. Genl. of
these HospitalAnd please to let the Inclosed Sum of £100 be Applied (as
a Donation from me) to the Use of the sd. Hospitals I am Sr. Your most humble
Servant Joseph AyliffeEpson July 19. 1757Whereupon this
Court Accepted the sd. resignation And Unanimously Ordered that the thanks of this
Court be given to Joseph Ayliffe Esqr. for his long & faithfull Services in the Office of
Auditor Genl.And for his Donation of £100 to these Hospitals

Nominated for Keepers of the Keys of the Great Chest.
The President Treasurer & Audr. General for the time being.
