Examination TextMillicent Corker aged 17 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the wife of Thomas Corker to whom she was married at the Fleet about two years ago, that he never was bound an apprentice kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes, but that he was a yearly hired servant to Mr [blank] who kept a Distiller's Shop in Dukes Court in the Parish aforesaid for the space of 12 months and upwards, but what wages she this Examinant cannot tell diet and lodging, when quitted the same she can't tell, that she has no children living. Taken in the workhouse the 16th Day of September 1749.
