Examination Text | William Pearce aged 13 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St. George Hanover Square says that he was put out to apprentice by indenture till he should attain the age of 24 years (by the officers of the Parish of St. George Hanover Square) to James Bevan a Shoemaker who then did live in Cross Lane in Long Acre in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid and there served his said Master about two years and then run away from him. Taken in the workhouse the sixth Day of October 1749. |
