Examination TextMary Scott aged about 59 years lodging in White Hart Yard in Bedfordbury in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the wife of James Scott to whom she was married at St Martin's Church about 13 years ago, that he is a Taylor by trade and lived in and rented an house near Bedfordbury in Chandos Street in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of two years at the yearly rent of 14 pounds besides taxes and quitted the same about three years ago, and hath not kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year or paid any parish taxes since. Sworn the sixth day of July 1751 before James Fraser.
