Examination TextAnn Sanders aged 27 years the 16th instant in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the wife of Charles Sanders (gone from her about three weeks) to whom she was married at the ffleet four years ago, that he is a Shoemaker by trade and was bound an apprentice by an indenture for seven years to his Father Philip Sanders a Shoemaker the corner of Coventry Court in the Haymarket in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid and there served his time out which expired about five years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since, that she has two children living by her said husband to wit Ann aged three years and a half and Elizabeth Mary aged two months both now with this Examinant. Sworn the 24th Day of June 1751 before James Fraser.
