Examination TextJonathan Vautier aged about 44 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St Luke in the County of Middlesex upon his oath saith that he is a Barber by trade and was a yearly hired servant to Mr Physick [sic], a Barber by the Admiralty gate in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of two years at the yearly wages of 10 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about 34 years ago, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or was a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since, that he was married to his present wife Mary at the ffleet about three years ago by whom he has no children. Sworn the 15th Day of October 1750 before James Frazer.
