Examination Text | Mary Wyre aged 22 years and upwards in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St Margaret within the liberty of Westminster upon her oath saith that she is the wife of Thomas Wyre (gone from her) to whom she was married at St Stephen's Church in the city of Norwich about two years and an half ago, that he is a Taylor by trade and served seven years apprenticeship to Mr Riley a Taylor in Denmark Court in the Strand in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since to this Examinant's knowledge.
