Examination TextElizabeth Royer aged 23 years lodging at a house let out in tenements in Vinegar Yard in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the wife of Richard Royer (gone from her) to whom she was married at St. James's Church Westminster about six years ago, that he is an Attorney and was born in Ireland but what part nor further of him she this Examinant knoweth not, that she was bound an apprentice by an indenture for five years to Mrs Turner a Mantua Maker who lodged at Mrs Pujolas in Newport Street in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields and there served about three years and an half, and then intermarried with her above-mentioned husband. Sworn the 23rd Day of September 1755 before Benjamin Cox.
