Examination TextElizabeth Bray aged 27 years and upwards lodging at Mr Courtney's in Church Lane in the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Fryer a Cutler in Church Lane in the Parish aforesaid for the space of one whole year at the yearly wages of 3 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about two years ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the first Day of July 1756 before Benjamin Cox.
