Examination Text | Ann Poole aged 35 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St Giles in the Fields in the County of Middlesex upon her oath saith that she never was married nor bound an apprentice, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Harding, Appraiser in that part of the Haymarket in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid for the space of one whole year at the yearly wages of 5 pounds diet and lodging, quitted the same about eight years ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor was a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Taken in the workhouse the second Day of October 1758. |
