Examination TextMary Gillmore aged 75 years lodging at Mr Cross at the Green Man in Half Moon Street in the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields upon her oath saith that she is the widow of Hugh Gillmore (who died 22 years ago) to whom she was married at St Mary's Church White Chapel about 43 years ago, that he was a Peruke Maker by trade and was bound an apprentice by indenture for seven years to Mr Delgardner a Peruke Maker in Old Round Court in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid and there served all his time out which expired about two months before his intermarriage with this Examinant, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes, nor hath she this Examinant nor been a yearly hired servant since his death. Sworn the 11th Day of January 1757 before Thomas Kynaston.
