Examination TextMary Woodbridge aged 18 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed from the Parish of St Andrew Holborn above the Bars in the County of Middlesex upon her oath saith that she never was married, that she was bound an apprentice by the Band of Musicians by an indenture for five years to Mrs. Vandrike a Gold and Silver Net Maker lodging at Mr Swans a Peruke Maker opposite Slaughters Coffee House in St Martin's Lane in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields aforesaid and there served about three years, and then her said mistress died, and then she this Examinant was at large, which is about one year and an half ago, that she never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since. Sworn the 21st Day of January 1763 before Benjamin Cox.
