Examination Text | The Examination of Wilmot Williams in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields taken upon oath this second Day of October 1761. This Examinant on her oath saith that she is about 45 years of age, that she never was married, that she was in the month of March which was in the year 1752 delivered in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St. James within the liberty of Westminster of a female bastard child (since christened Elizabeth) yet living and is become chargeable to the Parish of St Martin in the Fields. Sworn the day and year abovesaid before Benjamin Cox, Thomas Kynaston. |
